Sandra M. Taylor Biography
Sandra started playing piano at age 3…attending the local music school in her small hometown in Austria. She continued her studies at Johann Joseph Fux Conservatory of Music in Graz, Austria and holds a Bachelors Degree from Thomas Edison State College in New Jersey. She studied Music Theory/Arranging at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and Saddleback Community College in Mission Viejo…
She also served as Professional Pianist for the US Navy Band…where she had the honor of performing before national televised audiences, dignitaries, governors and the President of the United States.
Sandra is accomplished in playing and teaching piano from Classical to Contemporary Stylings, Traditional Church Music…and more. She’s not only a seasoned pro, but she is enthusiastic and empathetic in her approach to teaching and has a personal devotion to helping all of her students fully engage in the art and craft of music.
With over 20 years experience teaching piano, and a passion to see students have access to high quality education in the arts…there's no doubt you’ll love learning with Sandra!
Currently she is the Founder/Owner of Sandra Taylor Music Studio and Volunteer Musician for St Thomas More Choral Ensemble.
Previously she was a Worship Director at “Pensacola Navy Chapel”in Florida, Piano Instructor at “Coastal Music Studios” in Oceanside. She also had an appearance on “The Price is Right” TV show with the Navy Band. She also enjoyed being an accompanist for “Villa Musica” Choir in San Diego. Piano Teacher for Chuck James Music Studios, Hawaii as well as Piano Instructor at “The Rhoades School” and Music Teacher at Holy Trinity School in El Cajon, CA (K-8th grade).
